Sunisa (Jubie) Pollasit | Thailand Country Manager
With her larger-than-life personality, Jubie was born for PR. If she’s not networking, she’s drafting releases, arranging press conferences and exclusive interviews or ensuring that the office is running at full steam.
Bangkok born and raised, she loves travelling around Asia, meeting new people and scaling new heights — figuratively and literally. She recently climbed two of Thailand’s top peaks, Lom Muak and Khao Daeng, and is always looking for the next adventure.
With more than 15 years’ PR experience across multiple businesses and industries, she sniffs out the perfect positioning to generate maximum media interest for her clients.
Jeff Chan | DAC Hong Kong representative & Chief Consultant at Chance Communications
It can often be difficult to pin Jeff down. If she’s not darting around Hong Kong from one meeting to the next, she’s either masterminding the latest launch or exhibition for one of her many luxury lifestyle clients or jet setting across the region for work — and pleasure when she can!
Her vast experience touches on strategic campaign planning via digital, PR, adverting, events and marketing channels. Within her role as Chief Consultant at Chance Communications, she blends more than 15 years’ industry experience with a knack for creativity to enhance the branding and value for her storied clients.
Hana Hoed | Indonesia Country Manager
Hana heads up the Indonesia business for DAC and in between taking time out to explore new countries, cultures and cuisines, she’s leveraging off her enviable network to secure second-to-none media exposure for her clients.
With two decades’ experience working in tourism and hospitality spanning public relations, media relations and marketing for some of the hospitality industry’s biggest names, she has an immense understanding of what makes high-end hotel and resort brands tick and how to unearth their storytelling potential. An artist at heart, she spends her free time inking out her next masterpiece.
Kelly Austria | Philippines Communications Manager
Kelly is a public relations whizz with a serious penchant for trekking. She splits her time talking the talk with her portfolio of leading hospitality clients and walking the walk in new and undiscovered destinations around the world.
She kicked off her career in the travel sector working at the Philippine Department of Tourism and later as a public relations consultant to airlines, travel events, theme parks, resorts and hotels. For years she has combined her hobby with her passion for volunteering since co-founding a volunteer-based group that treks to provide supplies to underprivileged children living mountainous areas.
As a writer, she has contributed works to some of the country’s major publications.
Lysbeth Fox | DAC UK representative & Managing Director of Fox PR
Lysbeth is a bit of a legend in luxury and lifestyle PR in the UK. For 10 years she worked at some of the biggest PR companies — and boutique firms — in the country before launching Fox PR, which has rapidly become one of the UK’s most highly-regarded communications agencies, a decade ago.
Outside of her action-packed professional schedule, Lysbeth is a strong advocate of gender equality in the workplace, while weekends are dedicated to her young daughter, small dog and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. She’s also an avid traveller and not averse to living life to the extreme. Jumping solo from a plane was a white-knuckle highlight of one of her more recent trips, but mostly you’ll find her unwinding with a “damn good cuppa”.
Philip Engelberts | DAC Australia represtative & Founder of Philip Engelberts Public Relations
Born and educated in The Netherlands and now based in Sydney, where he just celebrated 15 years of Philip Engelberts Public Relations Agency (PERP), Philip has built an award-winning team of dynamic professional travel communicators handling campaigns for hotels, cruise lines, OTAs and destinations.
At PEPR he enjoys both planning and strategy, and a front-of-house role, which keeps him well connected to the lifestyle and tourism media and key stakeholders in Australia and New Zealand
Outside the office, the self-confessed beach bum is an obsessive traveller and also a something of a film buff.
Vanessa Zhu | China Country Manager
Connected and confident, Vanessa runs the Shanghai-based China team with an energy that drives conversations for our clients across the country. Supported by her number two Vita Sun, Vanessa is happiest when jet setting around the region accompanying press to experience DAC’s clients’ properties – or arranging CEO sit-downs in Shanghai for interviews. A mother of two and educated in Australia, Vanessa is the quintessential go-getter –backed by 14 years in marketing who has her finger firmly on the pulse on what’s hot and what’s not in the hugely influential market of China.
